I received a grant to bring a visiting professor from abroad. Can I accommodate them in any hotel?

Teachers: Where can I find the announcements?

Calls for applications are sent to eligible individuals via email. They can also be found on our social media pages.

Teachers: What activities should I do during my stay?

A total of 8 hours must be covered throughout the week. Conferences, seminars, classes, or other academic activities may be held during this time, which must be detailed in a work plan.

Teachers: How long does the stay abroad last?

The duration varies depending on the call for applications:

In most cases: 7 days.
In some specific cases: 14 days.

Teachers: How do I receive the funds?

Usually, the money is refunded when the person arrives in the destination country. This means that you buy the tickets in advance and then get the money back. Normally, most universities give the money in cash, although some do so via bank transfer.

Teachers: Do I need authorization from someone at the university to apply?

Yes, you need authorization from your faculty or academic department to participate in the calls for applications. You should also contact the host university and request a letter stating that you will be accepted there.

Students: Which courses can I get credit for?

Elective courses are usually validated. However, it is possible to validate mandatory courses as long as your faculty authorizes it. All course validation processes are the responsibility of your faculty.

Students: What do Erasmus+ scholarships cover for semester mobility?

Erasmus+ scholarships cover mobility expenses, including:

Air tickets.
Travel expenses during the stay.

The student will continue to pay the corresponding academic fees at PUCP based on their scale and according to the number of credits to be validated.

Students: How do I receive the funds?

Students: Does PUCP offer full master’s scholarships through Erasmus+?

No. The Erasmus+ scholarships we offer are exclusively for semester-long academic exchanges for students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs.

Yes, unless the scholarship you have excludes the possibility of receiving another one.

I am an alumnus of PUCP who wishes to pursue a master’s degree at a university abroad. Could I go to the SIA for guidance?
