The Office for Relations with Asia is a unit of the Academic Office of Institutional Relations (DARI) at PUCP. It was created with the purpose of centralising and enhancing academic, cultural, and research links with universities and institutions across the Asian continent.

Vision

To be PUCP’s strategic bridge with Asia, consolidating partnerships that strengthen internationalisation, academic cooperation, and the University’s cultural presence in an increasingly interconnected global context.

Objectives

- To strengthen and coordinate ties with universities and organisations in Asia.

- To promote research agreements, academic mobility, and cultural collaboration.

- To identify and channel the needs of PUCP Faculties, Centres and Institutes in their engagement with Asia.

- To centralise and disseminate information on PUCP–Asia initiatives.

- To promote PUCP’s presence in Asia as an academic and cultural reference point.

Main lines of action

- Management of agreements and joint projects: development and consolidation of partnerships with Asian universities.

- Capacity building: training programmes on language, culture, and protocols of the region.
- Academic mobility: exchange opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.
- Academic and cultural events: seminars, forums, and missions that bring the PUCP community closer to Asia.

- Outreach and dissemination: promotion of achievements and opportunities in coordination with DARI and the Office of Institutional Communications.
