As a researcher and student, one has to be aware of the calls and there are several things that one achieves by going abroad at least a little to contrast with what one has been doing here and what is done elsewhere.
Mainly I wanted to expand my academic experiences, surround myself with international students and professors, take new courses, and have new perspectives on reality in general.
