The KAAD and the PUCP co-finance scholarships to carry out doctoral studies and postdoctoral research stays in research centers and universities in Germany. My experience as an intern in this program was very enriching. On the one hand, the seminars and even the annual meeting with Jahresakademie scholarship holders helped me to enter, get to know, or come into contact with the German Academy. And on the other hand, being in contact with other interns helped me broaden my perspectives. I encourage and recommend teachers and practice heads of the PUCP community to apply for this scholarship program co-financed between the KAAD and the PUCP. It is an enriching experience that collaborates with the comprehensive development of any professional.

As part of our research group strategy, we are very interested in having different professionals from other parts of the world who can collaborate with us on research projects, but who can also come to the PUCP campus and tell us about their experiences. So, last year we applied to the grant program for professors at French universities and we applied with Professor Ángel Avadí, who is a researcher at CIRAD, which is the French Tropical Research Institute.
