From May 27 to 30, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) is taking part in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, the most prestigious global gathering dedicated to the internationalization of higher education. This year’s edition is being held in San Diego, United States, and brings together over 10,000 representatives from academic institutions across more than 100 countries.
Organized by the international association NAFSA, the conference provides a key platform for the exchange of best practices, analysis of global trends, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships aimed at promoting inclusive, sustainable, and high-quality higher education. Under the 2025 theme “Purpose, Place, Partnership”, the event underscores the importance of building resilient connections among communities, institutions, and diverse global contexts.
PUCP is participating as part of the Consortium of Universities, alongside Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Universidad del Pacífico, and Universidad de Lima.
Participation in this global forum—which convenes university leaders, senior administrators, and international cooperation officers from across all five continents—represents a valuable opportunity to continue positioning PUCP as a university committed to the highest academic standards and to a forward-looking, integrated model of institutional internationalization.
