The event brought together a large and enthusiastic audience—composed of students, K-pop fans, and the general public—who enjoyed a day full of music, dance, and Korean culture.

The festival was honored by the presence of H.E. Choi Jong-uk, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Peru, as well as Congressman Víctor Flores, member of the Peru-Korea Parliamentary Friendship League. Their participation reflects the shared interest in continuing to promote cultural exchange between both countries.

Representing PUCP was Edward Venero, Acting Executive Director of the PUCP Cultural Center, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive cultural spaces. Also in attendance from the Office of Asian Relations at the Academic Office of Institutional Affairs (DARI) were Mr. César Miranda, International Development Coordinator, and Mr. Juan Paz, International Development Assistant.

Throughout the day, multiple activities were held, including high-quality artistic performances and singing and dancing competitions that showcased talented participants. The audience’s enthusiasm and the fully packed NOS PUCP venue highlighted the event’s positive impact and the growing interest in Korean culture within the Peruvian university environment.

PUCP extends its greetings to all festival participants and congratulates them for the outstanding performances they delivered, demonstrating talent, preparation, and a genuine passion for Korean culture. Special congratulations are also extended to the competition winners, with best wishes for continued success in the remainder of the contest and in their future endeavors.
