Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) visits PUCP as part of the Standard Cooperation Project in Peru

On Wednesday, June 24, the Department of Engineering of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) received a mission from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), as part of the Standard Cooperation Project in Peru, aimed at strengthening the naval sector and specialized technical training.

During the visit, KOICA representatives held meetings with the teams from CITE Materiales PUCP and the PUCP Institute for Corrosion and Protection, specialized units focused on applied research, technological development, and services related to the characterization, assessment, and protection of materials.

KOICA is the government agency responsible for managing South Korea’s official development assistance. In Peru, its work focuses on projects related to digital transformation, health, and the environment, among other priority areas of cooperation.
