On October 1, the results of the QS Latin America & the Caribbean 2026 rankings were announced. This year’s edition assessed 492 universities from 26 countries. Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) was ranked 15th in the region, achieving its highest-ever score (84.4) and securing a place among the top 3 % of universities in Latin America. This performance underscores PUCP’s leadership in Peru and its growing reputation as one of the region’s most prominent academic institutions.
In the QS World University Rankings 2026, published on June 19, PUCP climbed 14 places to 345th worldwide, maintaining its position as Peru’s top-ranked university for the thirteenth consecutive year and remaining the only Peruvian institution among the world’s top 400.
