COIL modules

COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) is a teaching-learning methodology that enhances intercultural competence and collaborative work in our students. Its implementation involves the design of an activity within regular courses, with its respective learning objective, together with a professor from a foreign university.

The special value of this methodology lies in the possibility of generating a learning space in which PUCP students share an objective, a common project, with their peers (also students) from a foreign university. Thus, COIL is not limited to co-teaching, as collaboration occurs, first, between professors (who design the COIL module so that it is appropriately inserted into the two courses involved) and, then, between students from the two institutions (who carry out an activity or project jointly).
